A Journey Down the Spring River
Koisei — 恋静
01 · The Philosophy
Every spring, the river
carries a million petals from the mountains to the sea
— and every petal remembers the tree it fell from.
Koisei is a slow film about one river. We followed the water for three days, from the cedar hills above Kurama to the lantern docks of Asakusa, and kept only what the current chose to show us. What it chose was patience.
